What shapes the quote
Size
Larger work needs heavier moulding, thicker glazing, and more material, so it carries more of the cost.
Glazing
Standard glass is the baseline; UV-filtering and anti-reflective options protect and improve the view for a bit more.
Mounting
A single mat is simplest; double mats, float mounts, and object mounting take more time on the bench.
Moulding
Plain hardwood and metal are the baseline; gilded and specialty profiles cost more per metre.
